Luna moths have always felt like magic to me — strange, quiet creatures that seem to belong somewhere between the ordinary world and something a little harder to name.

They’ve become one of the recurring symbols in my work: transformation, intuition, softness, and the courage to keep becoming.

This Luna feels like dusk.

The deep blue-grey fabric and pale bleach marks give her a soft, faded glow — like the last bit of light hanging around after the sun has gone down.

There’s something I love about that in-between moment.

Not fully light. Not fully dark. Just a quiet threshold between one thing and the next.

Maybe transformation feels like that sometimes too. Not a dramatic before-and-after, but a slow crossing. A period where you’re no longer who you were, but you’re still becoming whatever comes next.
