One-of-a-kind bleach-painted T-shirt featuring a hand-painted rose emerging from the centre of a deep purple tee. The petals are layered with care, cradled by sweeping leaves that hold the bloom close—like it’s being protected and revealed all at once.

This is the shirt for days when you’re tender but strong.

When you’re carrying something fragile, but it’s still worth showing.

When you want to hold beauty close without hiding it.

Painted by hand with bleach on a Gildan Heavy Cotton (G5000) tee

Size: Small

Fabric: 100% cotton

Washed and heat-set

Design placement: Large rose design across the front

Each shirt is made with bleach, instinct, and a little bit of unapologetic glow.

Wear it when your heart is both shield and care.

  • I made this one while trying to film myself working — and honestly, I hated it. Filming pulled me out of that place where the art flows through me, and I thought the shirt fell flat. But when my sister came over, she loved it. And looking at it today, I see something different too: that maybe my job isn’t to decide if it’s good or bad, but simply to create, share, and let others see what I can’t.

Wear it as a reminder that beauty can be held, even when you don’t feel ready to show it.

  • So you found a shirt that whispered something to you. Cool.

Let’s make sure you and your new wearable art become fast friends.

    ❓ Is this shirt one-of-a-kind?

Yes. I bleach them all by hand. They’re a little chaotic, a little soulful, and completely unique. Like you.

❓ What size should I get?

They tend to fit like typical unisex sizes. But if you are unsure: Size up! I wear mine loose, like wearable billboards. That way the image flows, and I don’t feel squeezed by capitalism or cotton.

❓ What comes with the shirt?

Love. Some handmade stickers, a booklet with Certificate of Authenticity, my story about it, and care instructions.  Probably a dog hair (sorry).

    ❓ Can I wash it?

Yep. Each piece is washed, dried, and heat-set before it leaves my hands. Bleach designs are permanent. Just wash cold and hang dry if you want it to last a long, weirdly beautiful life.

    ❓ Why is it $85?

Because this is wearable art — not fast fashion. Each one takes time, intention, and risk. No two are alike. You’re not just buying a shirt; you’re investing in a piece of art you can live inside of.

    ❓ Can I return it?

Nope. All sales are final. These shirts are one-of-a-kind, made by hand, and full of soul — just like you. That said, if it arrives damaged or doesn’t look the way you expected, email me at hello@kristylannan.com and I’ll try to make it right. I want you to feel good wearing your weird.

❓ What size is the model?

Did you just call me a model? Blush. I’m 5’2” and usually wear a Small in unisex shirts (which these are). But for this wearable art, I like to go big. Makes me feel like a walking canvas. Oversized is the move.

    ❓ Can I get a custom shirt?

Maybe. There’s a form on the shop page where you can suggest a design — or just email me if you’ve got a wild idea. I can’t promise I’ll say yes (each shirt has to feel right), but I love hearing sparks of inspiration.

❓ Do you ship outside Canada?

Yes! Shipping within Canada and the US is included in the $85 price.

International orders ship at a flat rate of $30 — it helps cover the cost of sending these heavy travelers across the ocean without surprises at checkout.

❓ Is it really worth $85?

Only if you believe in slow, soulful things. This isn’t a mass-produced shirt — it’s a fragment of my art practice, made wearable. It carries story, accident, and rebellion in every fiber. If you’re looking for perfect, head to the mall. If you’re looking for something alive, you’re in the right place.
