One-of-a-kind bleach-painted T-shirt featuring a sunflower hand-painted across the front of a deep navy tee. Bold petals radiate outward in warm, glowing lines, creating a burst of light and presence at the centre.
This is the shirt for days when you need to carry the sun with you.
When joy feels like resistance.
When brightness is not a mood but a stance.
Painted by hand with bleach on a Gildan Heavy Cotton (G5000) tee
Size: Small
Fabric: 100% cotton
Washed and heat-set
Design placement: Large sunflower centered on the front
Each shirt is made with bleach, instinct, and a little bit of unapologetic glow.
Wear it when radiance itself is your quiet rebellion.
Radiant Sunflower (S)
I painted this sunflower at the end of summer, while the real ones were still blooming. There’s something about sunflowers that feels like they were born out of myth, but their poetry is just their truth.
They follow the sun across the sky. And when they can’t see it, they turn to look at each other. Eventually, their faces grow so full and heavy that they bow, scattering seeds for the next cycle.
There’s so much meaning in their gestures—it almost writes itself. To wear a sunflower on your chest is to wear a shield of appreciation: for light, for growth, for the way beauty feeds the future.
So you found a shirt that whispered something to you. Cool.
Let’s make sure you and your new wearable art become fast friends.
❓ Is this shirt one-of-a-kind?
Yes. I bleach them all by hand. They’re a little chaotic, a little soulful, and completely unique. Like you.
❓ What size should I get?
They tend to fit like typical unisex sizes. But if you are unsure: Size up! I wear mine loose, like wearable billboards. That way the image flows, and I don’t feel squeezed by capitalism or cotton.
❓ What comes with the shirt?
Love. Some handmade stickers, a booklet with Certificate of Authenticity, my story about it, and care instructions. Probably a dog hair (sorry).
❓ Can I wash it?
Yep. Each piece is washed, dried, and heat-set before it leaves my hands. Bleach designs are permanent. Just wash cold and hang dry if you want it to last a long, weirdly beautiful life.
❓ Why is it $85?
Because this is wearable art — not fast fashion. Each one takes time, intention, and risk. No two are alike. You’re not just buying a shirt; you’re investing in a piece of art you can live inside of.
❓ Can I return it?
Nope. All sales are final. These shirts are one-of-a-kind, made by hand, and full of soul — just like you. That said, if it arrives damaged or doesn’t look the way you expected, email me at hello@kristylannan.com and I’ll try to make it right. I want you to feel good wearing your weird.
❓ What size is the model?
Did you just call me a model? Blush. I’m 5’2” and usually wear a Small in unisex shirts (which these are). But for this wearable art, I like to go big. Makes me feel like a walking canvas. Oversized is the move.
❓ Can I get a custom shirt?
Maybe. There’s a form on the shop page where you can suggest a design — or just email me if you’ve got a wild idea. I can’t promise I’ll say yes (each shirt has to feel right), but I love hearing sparks of inspiration.
❓ Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes! Shipping within Canada and the US is included in the $85 price.
International orders ship at a flat rate of $30 — it helps cover the cost of sending these heavy travelers across the ocean without surprises at checkout.
❓ Is it really worth $85?
Only if you believe in slow, soulful things. This isn’t a mass-produced shirt — it’s a fragment of my art practice, made wearable. It carries story, accident, and rebellion in every fiber. If you’re looking for perfect, head to the mall. If you’re looking for something alive, you’re in the right place.
