This cougar came out of the shadows—first in my mind, then through my brush.
I’ve always been a little scared of them. More than bears, even. Bears lumber and make noise. You can prepare for them. But a cougar? You usually don’t see it until it’s already right behind you. That kind of fear is older than logic. It’s a feeling in your spine. A knowing in your gut.
But fear can be a teacher.
This painting helped me sit with that.
The cougar became something else as I worked. Not just a threat, but a guide. An embodiment of stealth, power, instinct. The part of you that sees in the dark and doesn’t ask for permission. That stays close to the wild even when the world wants you tamed.

❓ Is this shirt one-of-a-kind?
Yes. I bleach them all by hand. They’re a little chaotic, a little soulful, and completely unique. Like you.
❓ What size should I get?
They tend to fit like typical unisex sizes. But if you are unsure: Size up! I wear mine loose, like wearable billboards. That way the image flows, and I don’t feel squeezed by capitalism or cotton.
❓ What comes with the shirt?
Love. Some handmade stickers, a booklet with Certificate of Authenticity, my story about it, and care instructions. Probably a dog hair (sorry).
❓ Can I wash it?
Yep. Each piece is washed, dried, and heat-set before it leaves my hands. Bleach designs are permanent. Just wash cold and hang dry if you want it to last a long, weirdly beautiful life.
❓ Why is it $85?

Did you just call me a model? Blush. I’m 5’2” and usually wear a Small in unisex shirts (which these are). But for this wearable art, I like to go big. Makes me feel like a walking canvas. Oversized is the move.
❓ Can I get a custom shirt?
Maybe. There’s a form on the shop page where you can suggest a design — or just email me if you’ve got a wild idea. I can’t promise I’ll say yes (each shirt has to feel right), but I love hearing sparks of inspiration.

Yes! Shipping within Canada and the US is included in the $85 price.
